Nice. Always good to see others have a go at a pilots uniform. Wonder if Lufthansa would still be a thing in Imperial Germany?

Thanks. That's something I was wondering about too, so I just made it generic. Overall, I'm very happy with how this turned out, but I think I might rework the cap.

I would imagine it would exist, minus the staff strikes. I would also imagine it might have a different name too. For such a uniform, being generic is usually a good idea, but a few changes to make it unique to the entity is always nice.

I think you're right. I'm sure there would be some kind of German national airline, but it probably would have a different name.

I believe Lufthansa went under a different name pre-WWII. I forget what it was... It was definately "Deutsche" something, no doubt.

Yes I looked it up and apparently Lufthansa is a shortened version of Deutsche Lufthansa Actiengesellschaft which is what it has always been called. Who knew!?

That sounds about right. Something long and ridiculous to English speakers. I suppose adopting Lufthansa as the common moniker for the company would of been part of making themselves known across the world, as an international airline. A legacy they still try to keep, despite the stiff competition they receive from the Gulf these days.

But in your Imperial Germany's case. No strikes. You're not that certain neighbour that I won't name for various reasons. They love a strike!

Yes, Lufthansa is certainly one of the best airlines in the world. Probably the best outside those ridiculously overdone gulf airlines.

Well, I'll have to defer to the Reichstag when it comes to union laws, but I'm sure our illustrious monarch, Kaiserin Auguste, would have a few choice words for any strikes that interfere with the efficiency of the German Reich.
